Jeremy and Adam used profits from the business to grow Move Buddies’ staff to over 75 Employees. The total revenue is expected to reach $5 million in 2018, thanks to the company’s success in the past three years.
Move Buddies offers its moving services both locally in Charleston South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. They move locally or anywhere in the continental USA. They also offer local and long-distance storage (they provide 20,000 SQFT of warehouse storage), moving labor, consulting and more. The State of Carolina granted the company the permission to use Electronic Bill of Ladings. It was the first mover company to achieve this feat. The use of technology has significantly helped the company provide better services to its customers. Some of the technology services include: Live tracking of trucks and placement of cameras at the backs of trucks to ensure quality control. The cameras in the trucks stream live back to Move Buddies offices so we always have an eye on your move.
Move Buddies also has proprietary software which monitors the performance of its employees. Employees who are performing poorly are identified and equipped with skills to improve their performances. The company provides a training program referred to as “Pack Mom Certification” whose purpose is to train staff on the right way to pack boxes.
The company provides a personalized team of coordinators who will help you move out and tackle any problem that arises. The scheduling process is made easier by its micro call centre.
