Move Buddies was started by 2 “Buddies” after the two friends looked for a small business adventure that would be fun and needed change.

Adam and Jeremy found a passion in the moving industry that has made Move Buddies a popular local name. Our fun, well trained Team has the same passion as their founders in everything from Moving your items safety to latest technology in ensuring top quality on your move.

Move Buddies prides itself on being part of the Move for Hunger, Tri County Ministries, Wounded Warrior and several other non-profits we are fortunate to be apart of.

We recently were awarded the INC 5000 award in September of 2018, earning an impressive position #332.

Move Buddies loves to talk moving and we understand Customer Service. Pick-up the phone and give us a call to hear the difference.

Our Movers

Move Buddies offers its moving services both locally in Charleston South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. They move locally or anywhere in the continental USA. They also offer local and long-distance storage (they provide 20,000 SQFT of warehouse storage), moving labor, consulting and more. The State of South Carolina has granted the company permission to use Electronic Bill of Ladings. Move Buddies is the first moving company to achieve this feat. The use of this and other technology has significantly helped the company provide better services for its customers. Some of the technology services include Live GPS tracking of trucks and placement of cameras at the backs of trucks to ensure quality control. These cameras stream live back to Move Buddies offices, so we always have an eye on your move.

Move Buddies also has proprietary software which monitors the performance of its employees. Employees who are performing poorly are identified and equipped with skills to improve their performances. The company provides a training program referred to as “Pack Mom Certification” which is used to train staff on the right way to pack boxes.

The company provides a personalized team of coordinators who will help you move out and tackle any problem that arises. The scheduling process is made easier by Move Buddies’ micro call center.

More on Move Buddies

Move Buddies ensures that its trucks are regularly sprayed for cockroaches and bedbugs, something that most companies in the industry ignore and many customers never think about. Jeremy and Adam initially built the company to tackle the 10 most common complaints in the industry. Move Buddies’ strength lies in its ability to offer excellent services and offer solutions to customers’ problems. Their ability to flex for customer

Move Buddies sets itself apart from other companies in many ways. They have comprehensive pricing and operate with transparency when conducting their services. They also offer some of the best wages in the industry. Bonuses such as paid holidays, PTO, paid birthdays, vacations and awards such as “mover of the month” are designed to motivate and retain the best staff possible.

The success of Move Buddies can be attributed to an awesome staff and Adam’s 15+ years of experience in small business and finance, along with Jeremy’s’ 20 years in transportation experience. Aside from offering moving services, Move Buddies is also part of the Move for Hunger, helps with the Wounded Warrior Project and many other local charities and non-profits.
